Prairie Village continues to exhibit a strong draw to buyers for its mature trees and central location.

This is a definate buyer's market at this price point as there is a over a years worth of homes on the market compared to demand. Luxury home buyers may also be considering homes in Leawood or they may choose to reside in Mission Hills.

The overall trend is picking up as far as sales volume compared to late 2008. Credit is getting slighly easier to obtain although it will not return, at least anytime soon, to the easy credit access of 2003-2005. Those days are long gone.
